Dust the shower floor with a thin layer of baking soda, then wet a cloth with white vinegar. Scrub the stain with the cloth. If the stain doesn't come off easily, lay the vinegar-soaked cloth over the mark. Let it set for a few minutes, then remove the cloth and rinse the floor with water.

Things that fade the original white color to an unappealing, dull yellow include surface grime, dyes in soap or shampoo, and hard water deposits. If the stall or tub surround wasn't expensive, however, a certain amount of the discoloration may be caused by changes in the plastic or fiberglass itself.

Combine 1 teaspoon of liquid dishwashing detergent with 1 quart of water in a spray bottle. Alternatively, use a nonabrasive tub and shower cleaner. Spray the tub surround with the cleaner. Scrub clean with a rag.

Mix equal parts white vinegar and fresh water in a spray bottle for an excellent bathroom cleaner that can be used liberally on showers and tubs. Fully saturate surfaces and let the vinegar solution sit for at least 15 minutes. Wipe clean with a clean, dry microfiber towel.Oct 27, 2021

Baking Soda Paste

Baking Soda or Bicarbonate of Soda is very effective at removing both bad smells and stains in the shower. Mix baking soda and water until you have a paste the consistency of toothpaste. Rub this paste over the tiles and into the tile grout until the areas you want clean are totally covered.

Squirt about ½ teaspoon of non-alkaline liquid dish detergent into a bucket and then add about one gallon of warm water to create a soap solution. Fill a second bucket with warm water (no soap). Take a clean rag and dip it into the soap solution. Using the rag, wipe the shower floor to remove grime and discoloration.Apr 29, 2020

Even when you have a shower pan in need of cleaning and care, you can remove all the grime and restore it to a like-new condition. Fill a bucket with hot water and add two to three generous squirts of dishwashing liquid. If desired, add a scoop of powdered oxygen bleach or use a detergent containing oxygen bleach.

For Yellow Stains, Use Vinegar

For yellow stains and soap scum, vinegar will do the trick. This is the preferred bathtub stain remover, to use on the delicate surface of an acrylic tub.
